Shout to God with Joy

“Shout to God with cries of joy.” Psalm 47:1

Are you shouting to God? In the book, The 77 Habits of Highly Ineffective Christians by Chris Fabry …. the book gives us 77 things that will hinder our shouting. Things that will snuff out the light of any on-fire Christian.

Here is a sampling:

Habit #7 Make prayer occasional.
Habit #37 Live in the past.
Habit #44 Believe you must tidy up before coming to God.
Habit #72 Hold grudges.
Habit #73 Approach Church like a consumer.

Prayerfully, I hope we do not have these habits in our lives, but take our Christian walk seriously. Embracing a Loving God is serious business.
